Face-to-Face Communication – Old Fashioned? Not!

It’s unbelievable how dependent we’ve become as a society on electronic communication devices! E-mail, text messaging, PDA’s, cell phones, video conferencing, blackberries, blueberries, rasberries, and more…have taken the place of good old fashioned, face-to-face communication leading to many interpersonal difficulties and miscommunications in today’s workplace.

You may be thinking…Why improve my interpersonal skills when most businesses do 99% of communication by telephone, teleconferencing, videoconferencing, e-mail, and on rare occasions, snail mail. A popular way of thinking today…but, is it really the correct way? “Face-to-face communication remains the most powerful human interaction,” says Kathleen Begley, Ed.D., author of Face-to-Face Communication, Making Human Connections in a Technology-Driven World. “As wonderful as electronic devices are, they can never fully replace the intimacy and immediacy of people conversing in the same room and it has worked for millions of years.”

In business, we talk about “B2B” (business to business) and “B2C” (business to consumer) methods. I try to buck the trend (in a positive way!) to stress the importance of face-to-face communication. You’ll hear me talk a lot about the “P2P” (people-to-people) connections and how important it is to get beyond technology and talk face-to-face with friends, family, colleagues, customers, vendors, and the like. You may think that’s a bit old-fashioned, but in my opinion, there is no substitution for the human, up-close and personal contact. Don’t get me wrong, there is a place for the terrific technology tools we have today and I use it regularly, but it’s not always my first or best choice.

Several decades ago, John Naisbitt, in his mega 1960’s best-seller, Megatrends: Ten New Directions Transforming Our Lives, brought a new concept to the forefront called “high tech, high touch.” His idea was that “as human beings became capable of anonymous electronic communication, they would concurrently need more close-up personal interaction.” Seems to me that he was right on target!

We live in a society when flocking to the local coffee shop or diner for coffee chats with business associates or friends is a testimony to our need for human togetherness, especially when most coffee lovers can make a latte or cappuccino right in their homes. Think about the fortunes coffee establishments are making on our need for face-to-face communication! The people-to-people connections…

We hear of the many children (and adults) who spend countless hours alone playing video games. However, The Game Manufacturing Association reported in 2003 that family board game sales (like Monopoly and Scrabble) are booming and growing at 20% per year. Cranium has recently come out with a whole new line of board games for our “little people” (ages 3+). The people-to-people connections start at an early age – if you haven’t heard it, ask me to tell you my “Papa Zitto” story!

Even when disaster strikes and the news media bring these events into our homes and workplaces via TV, radio and the Internet, we seek out opportunities to share grief. I personally waited in line for almost three hours with hundreds of others to visit Ground Zero in New York when it opened to the public in December 2001. Many people also left makeshift shrines nearby to honor the victims of that tragedy. The people-to-people connections…

We lead hectic, multi-tasking lives both at home and in the workplace these days and we find the need for balance even more critical than in days gone by. We understand that technology can be impersonal, but it’s quick! We know we need to make time for more people-to-people connections but, the reality of the hectic pace doesn’t leave us much time for this more intimate form of communication. You may be thinking, isn’t it much faster to make a quick phone call, send a brief e-mail, or hook up via video-conferencing to have a meeting of the minds? Yes and no. It’s a communications paradox…faster is not always better.

So the better question may be, how can we make the best of both worlds – technology and face-to-face, people-to-people connections?

Just as fashions are redesigned and come back with a variation on a style from days-gone- by, I believe it is time for redesigning and revitalizing face-to-face (P2P) communication skills.

We need to get the balance right! People-to-people (P2P) communication skills remain one of the primary success factors in business, even in this age of technology. There are many situations – often those involving conflict, hurt feelings, high priority, or a large sum of money – that demand business people take the time and trouble to get in the same room to share information. Video-conferencing has become a good simulation and cost-effective method when individuals are in remote locations, but there is still no substitute for good, old-fashioned, face-to-face communication.

Don’t take my word for it…Let’s take a look at what some of the experts are saying.

Tom Peters, internationally known business guru, says without reservation that you should constantly attend to your face-to-face communication. Not to do so, will lead to career disaster. “We believe in high tech, high touch,” Peters writes. “No question, technology is the Great Enabler. But, paradoxically, now the human bit is more, not less, important than ever before.”

Sheila Hodge, author of Global Smarts: The Art of Communicating and Deal Making Anywhere in the World, says “The modern office is full of gadgets – computers and the Internet, uplinks and downlinks, videoconferencing, and online databases. Many people think they should let the fancy technology handle the messy task of interfacing with people.”

Jo-Ellan Dimitrius, in her book Reading People, talks about how young, technically oriented employees tend to communicate mostly in computer chat rooms. “If you want to become a better communicator, you must make a conscious effort to engage other people (in person),” she writes. “Even the most entrenched Internet junkie can learn the true meaning of ‘chat’ if the desire is there, but you have to get off the couch and make it happen.”

Gary McClain and Deborah Romaine in their book, The Everything Managing People Book, put it this way…”Consistent, daily face-to-face communication promotes more than just good feelings; it also promotes effective and collaborative teamwork.”

“One of the most critical areas of communication to get right in business is the one-on-one situations – especially offering advice, constructive feedback, and annual performance appraisals,” says Chris Roebuck in Effective Communication.

One of my favorite quotes stated very simply by Margaret Wheatley, Turning to One Another: Simple Conversations to Restore Hope for the Future, says “I can believe we can change the world if we start talking to one another again.”

Sounds like we’re on to something here…So, what can you do? Start out by taking an honest look at your communication methods and your attitude about technology vs. (P2P) face-to-face interaction. Are you e-mailing more and meeting less for financial reasons? Are you avoiding human contact mostly because of a lack of interpersonal skills? If the latter is true, you need to take action before it’s too late.

The next time you are tempted to send an e-mail, text message or make a phone call for other than routine purposes, stop! Get back to basics. Go out of your comfort zone and, instead, send the e-mail, text message or make the call to set up a face-to-face, in person meeting with the person behind the technology! Why? Because it works!

Make the people-to-people connections… You and your business will be glad you did!

Penis Sensation Loss – Penis Sensitivity Can Be Restored

When penis skin is constantly subjected to irritation, chafing, rubbing or other minor, chronic injury, the skin responds by forming a thicker, more durable outer layer in order to prevent further injury. While this callusing effect is more noticeable on the hands and soles of the feet, the same thing happens to the erogenous skin of the penis. With frequent masturbation or sex, environmental irritants, or just the constant chafing of clothing, the outer layer of the penis becomes desensitized, resulting in a loss of penis sensation. The good news is that through the use of personal care products containing penis-specific vitamins and minerals and following some simple suggestions, loss of penis sensation does not have to mean the end of sexual enjoyment.

Why does penis sensation loss occur?

• Aging – As men age, neural sensitivity in all parts of the body begins to diminish. Eyesight, hearing and sense of taste are all affected, beginning as early as the thirties, and the penis skin is no exception. Most men report some degree of penis sensitivity reduction over time.

• Circumcision – While some men report that circumcision does not affect their sensitivity, it is highly common for circumcised males to experience lost penis sensation. This is often believed to be the result of exposing the highly sensitive skin of the glans (penis head) to friction without the benefit of the natural lubrication provided by the foreskin.

• Masturbation – Frequent masturbation, especially dry rubbing, can toughen the skin of the penis and reduce penile sensitivity. In addition, the penis can essentially become over-accustomed to being stimulated in the “right” way, resulting in decreased response to other forms of stimulation, such as with a partner.

• Poor circulation – Circulation plays a big role in the ability to experience tactile sensation. For example, falling asleep with an arm under the body can result in temporary numbness in the fingers. Tight clothing, obesity, and even cycling can limit the circulation to the penis and cause loss of tactile sensitivity.

• Alcohol and tobacco use – Alcohol, as well as the chemicals in tobacco, can wreak havoc with the nervous system and decrease the ability to feel sexual pleasure. Men who smoke or drink regularly are at risk for lost penis sensation.

Is it possible to restore penis sensitivity?

With the right strategy, penis sensation can be restored, or new nerve pathways can be formed, making sex a pleasurable activity for years to come. The key is to be creative and care for the penis skin with nutrients that are designed to support healthy skin and nerve cell function.

• Visualize – Sexual arousal has almost as much to do with visual stimulation as with touch. Internal visualization of erotic images, watching a partner, or even viewing adult films can go a long way toward heightening the nerve sensation of the penis.

• Avoid masturbating before sexual encounters – For men who are experiencing sensitivity loss, abstaining from masturbation for a time can give the skin and nerve cells a chance to recuperate. Refraining from masturbation before an encounter with a sexual partner can also increase arousal and boost penile sensitivity.

• Experiment with different positions – Changing the pressure on the penis through experimenting with new positions can create new types of sensation and increase sensual pleasure. Using the positions described in the kama sutra, for example, can heighten penis sensation and increase sexual enjoyment.

• Use a penis health crème -Use of a nutrient formula that contains vitamins and minerals for skin and nerve support may help to prevent loss of penis sensation and restore sensitivity, as well as increasing the overall health of the penis.

Choosing a penis health crème

To be effective, a penis health formula (such as Man1 Man Oil) should contain a combination of vitamins A, B5, C, D and E, which work together to keep the skin youthful, supple and receptive to stimulation. Natural moisturizers such as shea butter prevent drying and toughening of the skin, while amino acids like acetyl-L-carnitine provide metabolic support and work to prevent aging and cellular damage of the penis skin.

Traditonal Vs. Neo-Traditional Tattooing

Some say that there’s no difference between traditional tattoos and neo-traditional tattoos; though the differences are slight, they are still there. Traditional tattoos consist of dark heavy line strokes and solid colors. They are intentionally kept simple in design and use a limited color palette that consists of red, green, yellow, brown, and blue with little to no shading.

Tattoo culture at the time was very much fringe and on the outskirts of society, unlike the mainstream appeal and fine art credibility it has today. These sailors would get iconic images stamped on their body as a celebration of their service; only accomplished sailors that have been to far away lands and traveled a certain number of miles were able to get swallows, for example. Traditional tattoos were not customly created, rather they were just flash picked off walls.

“Traditional” adheres to specific imagery: patriotic symbols like eagles, ships, anchors, the American flag, daggers, pin ups, swallows and nautical stars. All of these symbols stemmed from classic sailor and Navy icons that were prevalent in the early 20th century when servicemen would return stateside and get tattooed.

Neo-traditional tattoos pay homage to the classic, timeless art form through the same techniques; bold lines and heavy color saturation with minimal shading and detail. However, the imagery and designs used are generally more diverse and the color palette used is more diverse. A purely “American” tattoo style, neo traditional has included candles, lighthouses, diamonds, coffins and other concepts and rendered them in a “traditional” fashion.

Not to be confused with “New-School”, a more cartoonish, exaggerated and colorful style of tattooing, Neo-traditional is a revival of the “Old-School”, a celebration of roots and origins.

The innate beauty that the traditional tattoo style offers appeals across all generations of enthusiasts; bold lines and solid colors tend to fade less, offering the longevity and long lasting quality that so many desire.

Aside from black and grey, traditional has proven to be the one of the only tattoo styles that stand the test of time, and will always have an audience to wear them. The beauty of traditional tattooing is just that; there will always be artists looking to recreate the classic tattoos and culture that helped pave the way and make the tattoo industry what it is today.

Today, artists like Myke Chambers are paving the new generation of professional traditional tattooers, elevating the art to a new frontier and keep tradition alive.

The Relationship Between Dance and Music

What exactly is dance? Dance is an art form which expresses ideas, emotions, spiritualism and stories through graceful, rhythmic and coordinated body motions consisting of steps, turns, shakes and other movements. What music and dance share in common is actually rhythm, one of the core components of music, along with pitch. In fact, there can be dance with rhythm alone, usually performed on percussion instruments, such as is common in several West African and Middle Eastern countries. However, most dances are also based on melody. This, of course, is very natural. You will even notice a baby eagerly bounce up and down upon hearing a song. He is, essentially, dancing to rhythm and melody.

Dance is actually very important for a musician to know. It is an auxiliary subject. Just as an actor does not study acting alone but studies the whole range of performing arts, including dance, a musician should also know the broader scope of his subject. In fact, some of the most world-class composers even composed whole sets of music based on dance, usually known as suites or independent movements. This was especially prevalent after the Renaissance and during the Baroque periods, though it is continued on, even to this day. Examples of such dances include the bourrée, minuet, jig, courante, sarabande, barcarole, mazurka, tarantella, bolera and waltz, to name a few.

Some forms of dance emphasize a control of a certain body part, such as Irish stepdancing (legs), the Tahitian tamure (hips) and the Balinese Kecak (arms). Dance in general will help a musician learn to gain better control over his body, which is something to master while also playing an instrument. Stiffness will tend to go away and one will become more relaxed and flexible so as to move with ease while performing his instrument. Some Persian and Armenian dances, for instance, simulate energy being released from certain gestures with the arms, wrists and hands. For a pianist, say, this would be invaluable to master. The musician, knowing dance, plays the music that inspires dance, which, in turn, motivates him to motion. This, in turn, becomes momentum for more expressive playing. In this way, dance and music compliment each other.

This interrelationship between music and dance is so profound that it is even one of the most sacred of all expressions, being ritualistic in many religions and even considered one of the highest forms of connecting with a deity.

10 Home Remedies for Gout Pain

The best home remedies for gout are the old fashioned methods that

grandparents used. To relieve gout pain and suffering, the “old timers”

How to Increase Penis Size With Your Hands

“It DOUBLED my confidence and self-esteem!” exclaimed a 36-year-old man in an email to me recently. He was referring to the natural techniques on how to increase penis size with your hands. Impotence is becoming alarmingly common in our society today. More and more married men are depressed because they are no longer capable of penile erection.

Some men can maintain erection only for a short time. Usually, whenever a man and woman begins to quarrel and accuse each other of cheating, be rest assured that something is wrong with their sexual life. Many marriages break up because of small penis size and failure to achieve strong erection. For a man, there is nothing as humiliating and depressing as having a small penis or impotence.

The good news for you today is that you can increase penis size with your hands. You will be using your hands to exercise your penis to achieve your desired size gain. The only requirement is the discipline to diligently do all the exercises. They are actually very simple penis exercises anyone can do at home or in the office.

Recent medical clinical trials have tested and proven that penis exercises can practically increase penis length and girth. The same clinical trials also found out that apart from the increase in penis size, you will be able to cure premature ejaculation and keep a stronger and long-lasting erection to the utmost satisfaction of your partner. Just by the appropriate use of your hands in a certain way.

Some of the real benefits of the penis enlargement exercises are increase in your ability to maintain stronger and long-lasting erection every time (making you able to last longer in bed), increase in the amount of semen you produce when ejaculating and improvement in your overall sex control and performance. Best of all your penis will grow bigger and thicker.

I bet you. Your partner will respect and cherish you the more. The usual quarrels over your failing sexual prowess will end with a bigger and thicker penis.

This is how to increase penis size with your hands. Ready? Go!

The techniques below will show you briefly how to get started with increasing penis size with your hands:

• Jelqing Technique

This is the most ancient penis enhancement technique known to man. It involves using your hands to “milk” your penis thereby increasing the amount of blood flow to your penis, while filling the Corpora Cavernosa (the part of your penis that is filled with blood and enlarged during erections). This will make your penis visibly bigger and thicker. If you can perform this exercise regularly, you can permanently increase the size of your penis size very fast.

• Penis Stretching

Here you will be using your hands to stretch your penis without giving you any pain. Once you can stretch the tissues of your penis, the cells will begin to grow thereby increasing the length of your penis.

• Kegel Exercises

These exercises will help you to keep a strong erection throughout and last longer in bed. They are meant to strengthen the pubococcygeus muscle, which is used to delay erections. Once you can successfully train this muscle, you will be able to get multiple orgasms and strengthen your penis to shoot your semen farther into the vagina and accurately control premature ejaculation.

One secret you can do immediately is to use Aloe Vera to eliminate impotence. Aloe Vera is one of the most effective remedies for impotence. Cut the roots of the Aloe Vera into small pieces. Soak 2 handfuls into 3 bottles of gin for 10 days. Then, add 2 bottles of water to dilute and begin to drink 1 shot two times daily. If you take this in the morning, you will notice an improvement in your penile erection by evening of the same day. Try it now for free!

Dietary habits play an important factor to increase penis size and your sexual prowess. Some food promotes penis growth while some weakens it.

Great Helpful Tips For Church Marketing

In recent years, churches have accepted the need to sponsor themselves in our spirited world. This is because they have to preserve an edifice and a support as well. They need to magnetize more church goers in order to prop up themselves. Nowadays, there is a lot of things that people can do other than placing on their Sunday top and leaving for church. They could go to a shopping mall to see a movie, go to the seashore or watch a football game. Church marketing has to deal with the difficulty of diminishing church audience.

Churches can not pay their operating cost by just contributing their services for weddings, Christenings, and memorial services. A large amount of funds has to be sent to heat and to glow a church all the year round. Any structural scratch to a church will need a fundraising campaign. There have been many efforts to modernize church marketing and carry the church into the 21st century. The clergy have to relay to the younger age band in order for the churches to be successful. Lots of churches have their websites these days, in an attempt to connect people in what they are doing. Some clergy hire professional web site designers and marketing experts for church marketing purposes.

People can sometimes disapprove a church for being out-of-date, but a church can also be derided at other times for being too fashionable. Some churches have put on folk evenings and pop gigs. A church hall is often joined to the church, as a money generating opportunity. Then arguments typically break out about the suitable use of the church hall. It's an embarrassment that the world of business has to penetrate the quest for spirituality but these are the cruel realities and church marketing is needed.

A modern tension that some churches use is to have boards outside the church with amusing speeches to amuse spectator and church goers. Some of these are quite intelligent and some are cringe worthy. Some churches use fresh hymns as an option to conventional favorites, while others issue newsletters to inform the society of the work of the church. Church marketing works best when it involves social matters. The clergy need to convince populace that the church is still relevant today.

They key is communication and possibly more fundamental thoughts are needed. For instance, in the UK, the Archbishop of York has freshly finished a week of sleeping in a gazebo, pitched in the church. He also rushed for the week as part of a promotion to prevent the combating in Iraq. Some associates of the clergy may not agree with his proceedings but it is certainly worked as a part of PR.

The Importance Of A Good Hair Salon

Hair care is one of the most important things to a confident person. No matter the background, age or culture women always want to look amazing and the best way to do that is to have incredible hair.

Women of every age want to look stylish and turn heads. As our lives change our schedules may require more of us, leaving less time to be concerned with certain luxuries. Salon visits are the perfect way to keep looking your best, enjoy some “me time” and cut out the frustrations that come with fussing over at-home methods.

A visit to a hair salon is also the perfect way to try out new styles without worrying about the outcome. Stylists are trained to meet the needs of each client and specialize in the areas they excel at. With this and the use of professional hair care products they produce the most desirable results possible. At a salon, there is no guess work involved and virtually no chances that the end result will be unfavorable.

With the right hairstyle, life becomes more enjoyable and easier to manage. Many people live their entire lives without learning to embrace their true hair type. Just because straight and long styles looks good on one person, it doesn’t mean it’s ideal for everyone. In order to maintain the healthiest, best-looking hair, it’s important to get a style that works with the hair type. This creates a look that is chic and sophisticated without wasting so much time and helps women feel more confident in themselves, allowing more time for the things that really matter in life.

The top salons use the highest quality hair care products and can be expected with each visit. With professional hair care products available and top stylists, every client can expect award winning results. If you’re ready to make bad hair days a thing of the past, research the best salons in your area and pay them a visit. The best ways to find a good hair salon are:

1. Find someone who has great hair, great hair colour, great haircut and ask where they have their hair done.

2. Look for testimonials- what others have to say can tell you a lot about the salon.

3. Look to see if the salon has won any awards or credible write ups in newspapers and magazines. This is usually an indication that the salon is committed to high standards.

4. If the salon values education for their employees. A good salon will usually send its staff to regular training workshops and the best salons have their own unique in house training program. These salons usually have much higher standards than what is required from state or provincial boards.

5. The top salons use the highest quality hair care products and can be expected with each visit. With professional hair care products available and top stylists, every client can expect award winning results.

6. Compare the pricing of the salon. It is impossible for any business in any industry to offer the cheapest price, have the highest quality, and provide the best service all at the same time. The old saying “you get what you pay for” is true. If the salon is charging higher than average prices, they are usually confident in their work and stand by it.

One of the greatest reasons to visit a salon is that a stylist will help you learn the best tips for the daily maintenance of your style and hair type. They are able to suggest the products, tools and methods for obtaining the most amazing look in your daily life. This will make your life simpler because you will spend less time worrying about your looks and more enjoying your life with confidence. One should always expect to walk out with a beautiful hair style or fresh looking makeup and knowledge of how to better care for hair and skin.

Midsoles – EVA Versus PU

When deciding which running shoe to buy, perhaps the most important feature of the shoe is its midsole. You can’t see the midsole (it is sandwiched between the outsole and the insole), but it is largely responsible for the cushioning your feet, knees, hips and entire body receive each time your feet hit the ground. It can also help promote foot stability and prevent conditions such as over pronation (when your foot rolls too far inward) or under pronation (when your foot does not roll inward enough), which are associated with flat feet and high arches.

Midsoles are generally made from two basic materials: EVA and PU.

EVA stands for ethylene vinyl acetate. It is not plastic or rubber but foam. Each midsole is made up of thousands of foam bubbles that act like cells. Each one of these foam bubbles is filled with gas. The result is a material that is lightweight and flexible. Each time you land on an EVA midsole, your shoe breathes a little. The gas is pushed out and then let back in once your foot leaves the ground.

PU is also a type of foam. It stands for polyurethane. The material is heavier than EVA and is generally less preferred by runners because of its density. That said, PU tends to hold up better than EVA. Over time, the bubbles that make EVA midsoles so light and bouncy to begin with permanently lose some of their air. PU gives less bounce in the beginning, but its bounce lasts longer.

Some midsoles are made with a combination of the two midsoles. The classic design is to put PU on the outside (where the shoe receives the most stress) and then maintain an EVA core.

In addition to the midsole, you will want to carefully examine the shoes’ other features as well. With regards to the outsole, it is normally most important to examine the quality of traction it provides. Features to look for with insoles include arch support and contoured foot beds.

A word to the wise: often Shoe companies will use special terms or “company lingo” when it comes time to advertise these straightforward terms. For example, Asic’s Speva(TM) is in fact a fancy way of saying EVA (i.e., spEVA). Most high quality running shoes favor EVA over PU, or some combination of the two. You probably will not find too many PU-only midsoles, unless you are shopping in the vintage section.

Three Basic Parenting Styles

Parenting is something that usually comes naturally to people. There are no hard fast how to manuals or rules to parenting. People generally just learn as they go. Most things are just second nature, like feeding, clothing and generally caring for a child. However, as a child grows and other children are born, parenting becomes more then simply handling the child’s everyday needs. Sometimes parents feel they need some help in deciding the best way to parent their children.

There have been many people who have spoken out about parenting and offered advice and assistance to parents in need. Parenting styles are an example of something a parent can do to help them with their parenting. A parenting style is basically a way to describe how a parent parents their child or children. There are 3 basic types of parenting styles.

Some authorities on the subject of parenting will argue that there are many different variations of parenting styles, but they all go back to the three basic parenting styles. Those three styles are authoritarian, permissive and democratic.

The authoritarian parenting style is based on control. With this style of parenting the parent retains complete control at all times. Under this style of parenting there are strict rules and schedules. The parents rule the children with an iron fist. There is no exception to the rules and punishment is given in a very orderly and prompt fashion when it is needed. The down side to an authoritarian parenting style is that it usually does not allow for a lot of affection or warmth. Since children raised with this parenting style are usually not allowed to think freely or make decisions on their own they often grow up to have problems with thinking for themselves.

The permissive parenting style is the opposite of the authoritarian parenting style. The permissive parent lets the child have control. There are usually not a lot of rules and the rules that are made are often very lax. Broken rules often are not even recognized or even enforced. Parents that use this parenting style feel that their children need to be free thinkers and be able to explore the world and learn for themselves without being held down by rules and strict structure. There is often a lot of affection and warmth with this parenting styles. The downside though, is that children do not learn that rules are sometimes necessary. They learn that no matter what they do – right or wrong- that they will not be punished. This can lead to a life long rebellion against any type of rule or structure.

The democratic parenting style is a mixture of the authoritarian and permissive parenting styles. A democratic parent will set rules that are necessary and enforce them, but they will also take each situation as it comes. Punishment is usually discussed with the child. Democratic parents are most interested in making sure their children understands why rules are in place and why some behavior in unacceptable. Democratic parenting is about letting children know when they do good and when they do bad making sure they understand why it is wrong. It is a style of parenting where everyone – parents and children- work together. Children will usually grow up to respect their parents and to be able to handle conflicts and problems in a reasonable manner.

Each parenting style has its pros and cons. Obviously, with the authoritarian parenting style the children are going to be very respectful and very well behaved. The parents will have very little chaos and they will have a low stress level. With the permissive parenting style the parent is free to do whatever they want because they are not constantly policing the children. The family simply does their own thing, which can often lead to a lot of separation over time as everyone develops their own life apart form the family. The democratic parent in style requires a lot of work. Parents must constantly be talking with and dealing with their children in order to keep everyone involved in the family.

Nobody ever claimed parenting was easy. There really is no right or wrong to parent as long as children are cared for, happy and healthy. Parents can choose for themselves how they want to parent their children. Some parents simply fall into a parenting style that seems to fit their own life and their own beliefs. Others make a conscious effort to maintain a parenting style. However, a parent chooses their parent style, it is fine as long as it works for them and their children are taken care of.
